Oil Paintings
My oil paintings are "long-form" artworks, meaning they are created through a deliberate and thoughtful process that takes into account each decision about imagery, materials, and execution. I employ a variety of oil painting techniques, ranging from traditional, old master-inspired approaches to loose alla prima renderings and near abstraction. My commitment to using the highest quality materials and my willingness to experiment with different tools, painting styles, and color palettes allows my work to evolve within the framework of the landscape genre.

Oil paintings start at $3 per square inch. Image complexity and timelines can impact pricing. Adding a custom-built hardwood frame will add an additional $1 per square inch. A non-refundable deposit of half of the cost of the piece is required before the project can begin. Please contact me for more information.

The lead time for oil paintings starts at 60 days. This ensures adequate time for making all necessary decisions, executing the work, and allowing it to dry properly. Adding a varnish to the painting will increase the lead time by 2-6 months. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the client and will be communicated after the work is completed and packaged.
